The Chesapeake Wildlife Sanctuary is proud to announce that it is establishing the National "Pet Hall of Fame" Museum on the grounds of the historic pet cemetery in Aspen Hill, Maryland.

The Sanctuary is inviting contri-
butions of photos, books, bios
of notable pets, press clippings,
exhibits and any other items that
honor the love between an animal
and their human companion.  We
are especially interested in stories
about animals that are buried in
the pet cemetery.

The facility in Aspen Hill, Maryland
is the 2nd oldest pet cemetery in
the United States and is the final
resting place for approximately
40,000 companion and service
animals. The Sanctuary has
been lovingly restoring the sites
buildings and grounds.

The pet cemetery is the ONLY historic designated facility in Aspen Hill.
The National "Pet Hall of Fame" Museum will be dedicated and open for visitors on Saturday, October 1, 2005.
